                    snippet[0]="Bill Dixon has designed a new type of sailing yacht, the Ocean Pearl 62.1, which will be added to the Ocean Yachts S.A fleet.";
					heading[0]="Ocean Yachts announces its co-operation with the internationally famous yachts' designer Bill Dixon.";
					newsstory[0]="A new 62.1 ft sailing yacht will be added to the quality fleet of Ocean Yachts with the signature of the internationally famous yacht's designer Bill Dixon. Following the confirmation of the agreement, the sole shipyard of handcrafted sailing yachts will have an additional 'Pearl' in its fleet.#Ocean Yachts S.A. always faithful to its course for continuous renewal and enhancement assigned the study and the yacht plans preparation to Bill Dixon.  One of the most famous yachts' designers internationally, who has also designed for 'Moody', studied next to Angus Primrose as a sailing yachts' architect and after the sudden death of Primrose, he managed, not only with his talent but also his vision to excel and maintain the clients that Primrose had won. His fundamental philosophy is to 'translate' and to make his clients' dreams come true, in order to design unique yachts all around the world.#The sailing yacht that will be added will be of the new Ocean Pearl 62.1 with a very modern design and as the first plans show, it concentrates all the elements of quality, endurance, safety, comfort and seaworthiness that a top sailing yacht should have.#Ocean Yachts turns its interest to selling yachts to individuals and moves on with new important collaborations. Ocean Yachts' owner, Mr. Konstantinos Anargyrou, said: 'It is our duty to collaborate with the top yacht designer Bill Dixon, in order to supply a handcrafted 62.1 ft yacht that will bring innovation and will be pioneering in the manufacture of handcrafted yachts not only in Greece but also worldwide'.#Today, Ocean Yachts is the sole Greek manufacturer of luxurious handcrafted yachts, with a definitive upward progress internationally. Faithful and consistent to the Greek naval tradition, Ocean Yachts has been recognized not only for the high quality of its yachts' manufacturing, but also for their after sales support to clients. Their secret for success is its team's love for their work, dedication to detail while accommodating the clients' desires.";

					heading[1]="Ocean yachts takes the smart option.";
					newsstory[1]="With this new product to promote in the UK, which already has a wealth of large cruising yachts, Ocean Yachts have decided that they needed something a little more unusual to capture their potential clients' attention. With regular appearances at Boat Shows and extensive coverage in yachting publications, their idea of purchasing a smart car would probably be a very good compliment to their usual avenues of promotion. They found the perfect smart car in the right colours locally, and were pleased that its price didn't break the bank either. As the car is such a perfect tool for advertising, they decided to have the car measured up for some special custom graphics, and arranged for Vinyl Designs in Eastbourne to create an eye-catching effect just for them. #Steve and his colleagues at Vinyl Designs decided big would be best to give the greatest impact, and indeed that is just what it does. A combination of nautical logos and large type, the graphics on the car make it a great eye-catcher.#One Sunday morning, on the first day of the smart's new look, the car was parked outside the Ocean Yachts office in the high street of Battle (known for its famous battle rather than water hobbies), and within only a few hours they had their first phone enquiry about their yachts. #Since then they have taken the nautical smart to the London Excel Boat Show and the Southampton Boat Show each year, receiving very positive responses from the public and exhibitors alike. #The smart car proves to be a godsend in the London traffic when the Excel London Boat Show is on - everyday this little car weaves through the traffic cutting the journey time by an impressive 15 minutes - absolutely essential when you need to be on time for your potential customers. Distance is no problem either - having travelled to meet clients as far a field as Weymouth Harbour, Dorset from their base in Battle, East Sussex - the journey has not only been comfortable but very economical. #Apart from the fact that they are exceptionally fun cars to drive, Tony and Sue have been very impressed with the performance of such a neat and economical car.  In fact, they are now looking for their next smart car for another fledgling racing yacht due to be launched later in the year.";

					newsstory[2]="Terry and Carol Huckerby have already completed two ARC races to St Lucia - they feel so confident with their Ocean Star 56.1 that they are preparing to set sail with the WORLD ARC in January 2008 starting from St Lucia. #Terry bought his Ocean Star in July 2004 and first participated with a crew of 7 in the ARC 2005 and thorougly enjoyed the comaradarie of a fleet of yachts together. Terry and Carol then enjoyed sailing around the Caribbean until May when they headed off with ARC EUROPE back to the UK. Feeling very content with their yacht they again took part in the ARC 2006 but this time, just the two of them. An experience they both agree was well worth while. #That leads us back to their next venture in January 2008 - we will keep you posted as they travel the world.";

					heading[3]="Ocean Yachts SA regatta.";
					newsstory[3]="Flying the flag for the UK were Brian and Judith Wilde with their cutter rigged Ocean Star 56.1 and Martin Hewitt and his crew with his Ocean Star 56.1. Martin had travelled from his base in Turkey to Kalamaki to compete. #The regatta is set over a course of roughly 30 nautical miles between Alimos Marina, Kalamaki and the island of Poros. 30 Ocean Stars participated in glorious sunny weather - so glorious that the wind stayed away and after 6 hours the race was abandoned. That of course did not stop the Greeks from being very hospitable with a Gala night of dance and music. Brian and Martin did enjoy an informal race back to Kalamaki a day later in fantastic sailing conditions reaching over 10 knots through the water - it was a close fought battle with Brian eventually winning line honours. #By next year we hope to have many more UK Ocean Stars participating - some may have returned from their cruising around the world.";
